The Gloster fancy canary,

Breeding of the Gloster canary has taken a time of 15 years for breeder Cor de Bruin and for his son Jeroen de Bruin for at least 10 years. Like many along us this has been started by breeding a few Glosters, and witch you can see on the bird room site has been large.           

This "virus" has been started by father Cor de Bruin, and you can say "Like father so Son"  it has been infected Jeroen de Bruin also. To breed an good line of Glosters is the meaning of all this.  

After playing shows every year, you can say that the last years the colour and contrast of the plumage is very imported. At least so imported as the body of the Gloster. The last 4 years we've breeding with many of intensive Glosters. And it helps, stronger every Gloster breeder will need it. 

Cor de Bruin is recommended for some years for his nice Gloster Corona's, while Jeroen has breaded some nice type of Gloster Consort. Three years ago we've crossed some, with result that the body and plumage of the Gloster are the same by Cor or Jeroen. Also on big shows in the Netherlands we booked the last year great results. One of the show this Gloster Corona hen wins is the biggest show in Holland .

After we have our own "model" and "type"  and last but no least the great plumage, we still make some perfections. That's what this hobby great. Also we want to breed some more colours, so we can play more classes at the shows.
